Our Block is a web series that spotlights Black-owned businesses, local heroes, and the flavors that tell deeper stories from DC, to Oakland, to Chicago.
Because Blackness isn’t a monolith. It’s full of layers, contradictions, joy, legacy, and reinvention. This is us reclaiming the narrative.

We’ve already filmed in Chicago and Oakland, hosted sold-out community screenings, and crowdfunded over $60,000 to bring this vision to life. This project belongs to the community, and we want you to be part of it.
